Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarships 2023-24:
Applications are being invited for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship in Hungary 2023-24. All international students from all over the world are eligible to apply for the Hungarian Government Scholarships. The Hungarian government offers fully funded scholarships to all students to start their undergraduate, master, doctoral degree or non-degree programs in the best Hungarian universities. This award is available for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Almost all majors and fields of study are available to pursue undergraduate or graduate studies under the Hungarian Government Scholarships 2023. All agenda items will be taught in English. All costs will be borne by the Hungarian government.
The Hungarian government launched the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship program in 2013 to provide foreign students with the opportunity to pursue their higher education in Hungary. The main goal of this program is to increase the number of international students in Hungary and encourage Hungarian higher education institutions to attract top foreign students.
The scholarship program offers opportunities for full and partial study in a three-course degree structure (Bachelor, Master and PhD), mostly in English, however, other foreign language study programs are also available within the framework of the stipendium scholarship program. Students can also apply for a preparatory Hungarian language course, after which they can pursue their higher education in Hungary.
The number of scholarship places available is constantly increasing along with the number of applicants for the Stipendium Hungaricum. - Citizens, nationals, or permanent residents of the United States of America applying for the Medicine program of the University are required to submit their Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) results.
Note: IELTS/TOEFL Language Certificate is Not Compulsory to apply for a scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria:
To apply for a Hungarian government scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- All international applicants are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Hungarian citizens or dual Hungarian citizens cannot apply for the scholarship.
- Students above 18 years of age by August 31, 2023.
- Applicants who are not self-financed in any Hungarian higher institution.
- Students who have used this scholarship earlier cannot apply for the scholarship.
Application Deadline:
The application deadline for the 2023-24 Hungarian Government Scholarship is January 16, 2023. The result of the scholarship will be declared in June 2022. Students can join their classes in Hungary in September 2023.
