The Middle East has called for leadership action in the Pacific islands. Launched in 2013, the Pacific-Taiwan leadership program won its seventh series, Seventh Generation, in December 2019.

The PILP is funded by the East-West Center, funded by the Institute for Consular Affairs and International Affairs (IDIA) and the Minister of Public Affairs (MOFA), Republic of China (Taiwan).

Who can Apply:

  • The Thai Island Leadership Program (PILP) is open to applicants from Pacific countries: Papua New Guinea, Marshall Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu.
