Community Engagement Exchange Program 2023 in the USA [Fully Funded]

Community Engagement Exchange Program 2023:

The Social Partnership Exchange Program 2023-2024 is a program to strengthen cooperation and promote peace among nations by supporting civil society leaders in building healthy and inclusive societies in more than 100 countries. The US Exchange Program is designed to help to emerge and influential leaders realize their full potential by providing them with opportunities to network and build lasting relationships. The Cultural Exchange Program in the United States is of great importance when it comes to identifying some of the factors that influence the growth and development of a society. These key factors are none other than women and gender equality, participatory governance, sustainable development, youth participation and resilience. Young leaders support and build a diverse and multidisciplinary global civil society ecosystem.

The Community Exchange Program is a US government initiative and is supported and implemented by IREX. The International Research and Exchange Board (IREX) is a non-profit organization recognized globally for its exceptional training and development-related exchange program opportunities. Since its founding in 1968 by the American Council of Learned Societies, IREX has been a leader in scholarly exchange. In fact, earlier IREX organized these exchanges between the United States and the Soviet Union. Later, with the fall of the Iron Curtain, IREX support expanded to support democratic reforms. IREX now oversees programs related to education, Internet access, support for journalists, training for media organizations, and more.

The Community Engagement Exchange Program provides transformative leadership development experiences through program activities throughout the year. These program activities include a three-month training course in the United States, participation in the Leadership and Civic Engagement Academy, community engagement projects, and ongoing global and local networking. During this one-year US-funded program, fellows focus on one of five core themes of the 2023-2024 CEE program. These topics include; Citizen dialogue and peacebuilding, governance, equality, resilience and sustainable development, youth participation etc. In this program, fellows focus on collaborative roles, volunteer opportunities, inclusive and innovative development models, and ways communities can address climate change, community-based agriculture, and entrepreneurship. That’s why the program doesn’t get missed due to many reasons.
