International Scholarship – South Africa is open to international students. This scholarship is possible for post-graduates, doctorates. Level programs (language) in the field of arts, social sciences are taught at Stellenbosch University. The scholarship deadline is October 31, 2021.
Stellenbosch University, in partnership with the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, is providing turn-around funding to aspiring international students.
The grant is available to students around the world who wish to apply for a master’s or doctorate. Studies in South Africa.

Scholarship Benefits:
Stellenbosch University is funding an award of up to 400000 ZAR (Ph.D.) and up to 105000 ZAR (MA)
Eligible Nationalities:
International students are eligible to apply.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must submit a copy of their dissertation along with their application: Master’s thesis article for Ph.D.
- Applicants must be over 30 years of age and under 35 years to apply for a master’s degree.
- Students are not required to register and have a supervisor. However, they should be aware of the presence of supervisors in their specific research area before submitting the request. Recommendations

- Received awards or grants.
- Related professional experience;
- Ability to use any language (s) other than English for educational purposes. Application Methods and Requirements

- Incentive letter (more than 600 words)
- Initial research proposal, more than a thousand words, more than 1000 in light of the unique role of your specific field of research, problem statement, method / theoretical framework / philosophical faults that you intend to use, and present knowledge in that particular field. - A valid copy of your South African ID (for international students).
Application Procedure:
To apply for the grant, after taking admission, aspirants can navigate the online portal.
- A motivation letter (no longer than 600 words);
- Initial research proposal, more than a thousand words, unique research you want to use, according to your research’s unique context, problem statement, methodology / theoretical framework / philosophical flaws, your research is the highlight of a unique collaboration in specific fields. Research and the possibility of your study;
- A certified copy of your full academic transcript;
- Admission Requirements: Scholars who have a letter of recommendation with unique curriculum standards for their degree and meet the requirements.
- Language Requirement: If English is not your first language, then you need to show that your English language skills are sufficient to succeed in your studies.
