Students are invited to apply for the Sophie German Scholarship 2022-2023 in France. The German Sophie Scholarship is available to French and international students wishing to pursue a master’s or doctoral degree. Course “Mathematics and Applications”. The scholarship provides educational and supervisory opportunities to study in France, covering a wide range of mathematics and its applications.
The Master’s scholarship course is offered for a duration of one or two years and is intended for students who wish to enroll in one of the Master’s programs (in addition to the “Formation l’Enseignement Supérieur en Mathématiques” course). The PhD scholarship track seeks to draw special attention to talented students by providing financial support during their postgraduate studies from the track Master (M2) to PhD. The proposed budget period is 4 years.
Funded students must meet requirements for a master’s degree program and prepare for a doctorate. Hadamard project with supervisor in PhD in Mathematics. After the master’s degree is approved, the board of directors of the Hadamard School of Mathematics must approve the doctoral degree. Sophie Germain Scholarship in France Benefits:
The benefits offered to master track applicants for this European scholarship are not disclosed in the official call for applications. PHD. Applicants for the route to PhD (Master’s (M2) to PhD) will be funded for 4 years, as shown below.
- Compensation is 10,000 € for the year of graduation (m2) and tuition (approximately €500 for one year) for international students at a maximum rate of 2000 € per year depending on their country of origin. This partnership is a fixed rate to cover round trip travel expenses and Visa expenses. Also, a house is reserved for you (you have to pay rent)
- During the 3 years of the doctorate, the equivalent of a doctoral contract under French law is currently 1866 € gross monthly.

Sophie Germain Scholarship in France Eligibility
To apply for the Sophie Scholarship in Germany, applicants must meet the following criteria:

The first call is between October and January 31. Please note that international students (outside Europe) must apply for a visa.
The second call is from 1st February to 1st May (for Master’s program only) and is for “intimate” only, ie students currently studying in Slcla, Paris.
