The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has opened a 2021 scholarship for international students in Romanian universities. The Romanian Government Scholarship 2021 is available to undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students from all over the world. All expenses incurred during the period of study in Romania are covered by the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Please note: Scholarships are not awarded in the fields of medical science, dentistry and pharmacy.

Eligibility Criteria For Romania Government Scholarship:

To study in Romania, applicants must meet the following criteria to benefit from this 2021 Romanian Scholarship.

  1. International applicants from all countries of the world except European countries are accepted.
  2. Applicants should not be Romanian citizens at the time of application.
  3. Applicants must not be above 35year age undergraduate/graduate and postgraduate and under 45 years of age, especially for doctoral / postgraduate or postgraduate study.

What Documents Are Required To Apply Scholarship:

  1. Official letter issued by the main diplomatic mission of this country stating the recognition of the diplomatic mission of Bucharest or Romania in the country or country of residence
  2. The MFA application form (Appendix 1) for the Romanian Scholarship has been completed correctly.
  3. MER application form for admission to study in Romania (Appendix 2);
  4. Copy of the legal status of the obtained diplomas (bachelor’s degree or equivalent + bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree, if any) and their legal translation into one of the following languages:, French or Romanian,
  5. Legal copies of diploma supplements related to graduate / graduate forms and their legal translation, if any;
  6. The legal format and copy of the birth certificate have been translated into one of the following languages: English, French or Romanian.
  7. Photocopy of passport 3 pages;
  8. A medical certificate confirms the fact that the person does not enter the study
  9. Infectious diseases or other conditions that do not match the required studies. Applicant Curriculum
  10. Recent photos – 2 pieces, passport template.

The application file also includes the following documents (for candidates mentioned only in the specific documents of each candidate):

  1. Proof of name change (if any) – copy and legal translation
  2. For Graduates Current Certificate – Certificate of Acceptance for Certificate, Bachelor, Master or Doctoral Exam.
  3. Romanian Readiness Year Certificate or Language Proficiency Certificate
  4. Appropriate;
  5. Parental consent in case of minor candidates (in one of the following languages: English, French or Romanian).

Application Deadlines For Romania Government Scholarship:

The deadline to apply for the Romanian Government 2021 scholarship program is set by each Romanian embassy in your region / country. As officially mentioned, the deadline for receiving application files at the Romanian Foreign Ministry is April 30, 2021.

Files should be sent via diplomatic missions. Applications sent by post or directly to the State Department or MNE, as well as applications received after the deadline, will not be considered.
