Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU) is a private university located in Sanmin District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, established in 1954 in Taiwan. This scholarship is fully funded for undergraduate/bachelor, postgraduate (M.Phil/MS) students and international students.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR KMU TAIWAN:
- Applicants must be international students from a country other than Taiwan.
- Applicants must be physically fit.
- Applicants cannot avail of other grants at the same time.
- Applicants must complete the application properly, honestly and submit their application through the university.
- Applicants for high school education are eligible to apply for undergraduate programs.
- Applicants having undergraduate/ bachelor’s degrees are eligible to apply for the Master’s degree program.
- Applicants with master’s degrees are eligible to apply for Ph.D./ doctoral programs.
SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS:
Applicants interested in the KMU International Student Scholarship must complete the online application form. Each grant includes the following:
- Type A: One-year tuition waived,
- NTD 10,000 stipends per month,
- Dormitory/housing accommodation coverage.
- Type B: One-year tuition waived
- Dormitory/housing accommodation coverage.
- Type C: One-year tuition waived.
Undergraduate students can apply only for Type C, Postgraduate students can apply for Type B and Type C Ph.D. Failure to follow these instructions may affect the result of the program.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR APPLICATION:

- The Highest verified Degree with official stamps.
- The highest degree Transcript
- Two recommendation letters
- Passport
- Study plan: Written in English / Chinese.
- English Proficiency Certificate: If the previous degree is for all English language courses, applicants may ask the University/Department/Advisor to issue a formal statement: “The teaching medium at this institution is English.”
- Academic thesis (for Ph.D. program applicants).
