JSU Presidential Scholarship 2023 for International Students:
Applications are invited to apply for the Jiangsu University Presidential Scholarship 2023 in China. Jiangsu Provincial Government in collaboration with Jiangsu University is actively offering a lucrative scholarship scheme to international students for the academic year 2022-23. All International Students are eligible to apply for a Fully Funded Scholarship in China. The award is available for students from all over the globe to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree or PhD Degree in China.
The purpose of this program is to improve the characteristics of Jiangsu education in the eyes of the world and to support the higher education of students abroad. Without paying any tuition fee, this is a very useful program through which you can get a quality education in China.
JSU University was founded in 1902 as Sanjiang Normal College, making it one of the oldest institutions of higher education in China. The university was inaugurated by merging the former Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, Zhejiang Medical College and Zhejiang Teachers College. This university has a global reputation in the field of education and research. In teaching, they encourage students to gain practical experience and show creativity.

Financial Benefits:
Jiangsu University Presidential Scholarship 2023 offers two types of scholarships, one full and the other partially for students from all over the world. These benefits are detailed below:
Type 1. Scholarships for Master Candidates
(1) Type A
Coverage: CNY 25,000
Beneficiaries:
The scholarship is open to Master’s Students in the following categories:
- Best JSU students from undergraduate to postgraduate.
- Candidates nominated by the “Belt and Road” cooperative universities;
- Graduates from the top 1000 universities in the world (according to the ranking system of four prestigious international universities, namely US News & World Report, QS, THE, and ARWU).
- Candidates graduating from “Top Universities” in China; and is a graduate of the top 1% of “first-class” or ESI programs.
(2) Type B
Coverage: CNY 20,000.
Beneficiaries: Other admitted master’s candidates.
Type 2. Scholarships for Doctoral Candidates
(1) Type A
Coverage: Tuition, Accommodation Fee (CNY 5,000) and Living Allowance (CNY 5,000)
Beneficiaries:
The following categories are open for the doctoral scholarship:
- Excellent students of JSU continuously studying from Master’s degree to Doctorate.
- Candidates nominated by the “Belt and Road” cooperative universities;
- Graduates from the world’s top 1000 universities (according to four internationally recognized university ranking systems, US News & World Report, QS, THE, ARWU).
- Candidates graduating from “Top Universities” in China; “First class” graduates or the top 1% of ESI programs.
(2) Type B
Coverage: Tuition, Accommodation Fee (CNY 5,000)
Beneficiaries: Other admitted PhD candidates.
Type 3.
Taught in English the Scholarships for Bachelor Programs
Coverage: CNY 10,000 (first year ONLY)
Beneficiaries:
The following category of scholarship is open for Undergraduate students:
- New Students from these new programs:
- Electronic Commerce, Material Science and Engineering and Corporate Finance.
Documents Required:
- A valid copy of passport.
- Degree Transcript (Notarized English translation if applicable)
- Degree Certificate (Notarized English translation if applicable)
- English language proficiency certificate (non-English speaking countries)
- HSK-4 certificate (for Chinese-Medium programs)
- Family financial statement
- Research proposal (Master and PhD only)
- Two Recommendation Letters (Master and PhD only)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Eligible Countries: All countries are eligible for the applications.
- Eligible Courses or Subjects: Undergraduate and graduate courses in Engineering, Insurance, Financial Management, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Automation, Business, Commerce, Marketing, Human Resources, Science, etc.
- Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must fulfil all the following criteria:
