Eiffel Scholarship 2023 | France Government Scholarship (Fully Funded)

The Eiffel Program of Excellence is a French government scholarship. This is one of the highest government scholarships in France for international students. The French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs is funding this French scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded for 36 months and 12 months depending on the length of the course.

No application fee is required. Applicants should not be more than 25 years of age for a Master’s degree and 35 years for a PhD degree programme. The total number of awards is 350+. It is even easier to get into French universities than American universities. The University of Paris is ranked #37 in the world while Paris is ranked #1 in France.

The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program developed by the Ministry of External Affairs provides annual training to future foreign decision-makers in the public and private sectors in degree programs at the master and doctoral levels.

Levels of Study

French higher education institutions sending candidates to the Eiffel Program agree to registration:

  • In courses leading to a master’s degree
  • In an engineering program
  • In a joint doctoral program (joint supervision of a dissertation and/or a dual degree), in partnership with a partner institution abroad.

Duration of The Scholarship

Master’s level

  • M2. Maximum 12 months if enrolled in
  • M1. Maximum 24 months when enrolled in
  • Maximum of 36 months to complete an engineering degree

Doctorate level

The Eiffel Scholarship is awarded in France for a period of 12 months.

Financial Benefits:

Master’s level: Eiffel scholarship holders receive a monthly stipend of 1,181 Euros, which covers a range of services: international transport, national transport, insurance, housing search, cultural activities, etc.

Doctoral Level: Eiffel scholarship holders have a monthly stipend of 1,700 Euros, which covers a range of services: international transport, national transport, insurance, housing search, cultural activities, etc.
