Yes. This is what we were waiting for. Applications are now open for the DESY 2022 Summer Student Program in Germany. This time the program will be physical, that is, it will be in Germany and all the participants will go to Germany. DESY is an international summer student program. Applicants from all over the world are eligible to apply. This is a full funded scholarship for international students in Germany. The program will run from 19 July to 8 September 2022 in the summer of 2022.

All international students currently enrolled in undergraduate and graduate courses can apply for this full-time summer student program in Germany. Students from any educational background are encouraged to apply for this DESI Summer School. IELTS/TOEFL tests are not required for this program.

Students are required to attend the entire program. Experience working in Hamburg or Gothenburg (near Berlin) sites, parties, entertainment, tourism as well as in various educational fields. DESY will select 100 participants from all over the world. All costs related to the program will be borne by DESY. Financial Coverage

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be foreign nationals outside Germany.
  • Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible.
  • Applicants who have already obtained a master’s degree or will acquire a master’s degree in 2022 will not be accepted.
  • Applicants must not have previously attended DESY as summer students.
  • Applicants must be fluent in English.
  • Basic computational skills are required.
