AIT Asian Development Bank Scholarship 2023:

Applications are open for the 2023-24 Asian Development Bank AIT Scholarship in Thailand. This scholarship is given at the Asian Institute of Technology Thailand. ADB Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship for international students to pursue postgraduate studies. Asian Development Scholarships offers 140 scholarships each year, and ADB Scholarships are sponsored by the Government of Japan in economics, management, science and technology, and other development-related fields.

ADB Awards is a great opportunity for students from all over the world to study in Thailand for free. ADB Scholarships are for one to two years. The maximum duration of the scholarship for Masters, Masters and MBA programs is two years.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Become a citizen of Asian Development Bank country. Visit ADB – Japan Scholarship Program to see the name of your country for a list of current developing member countries.
  • Preference to female candidates
  • Preference is given to applicants who have little financial means. Family income must not exceed $50,000 per year and individual income must not exceed $25,000 per year.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with high academic record.
  • At least two (2) years full-time professional work experience (obtained after university degree) at the time of application.
  • Age at the time of application should not exceed 35 years. In exceptional cases, the age limit for programs suitable for senior executives and managers is 45 years.
  • After completing the program, agree to return to your home country.

  • Copy of degree and transcript of 4 years undergraduate course
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Required English proficiency: TOEFL (computer-based: 213 or i-TOEFL: 80), or IELTS: 6 (written and overall) or equivalent
  • Work certificate provided by the employer.
  • Income details. If married, please submit spouse’s income statement. Otherwise, income statement of parents
