The Research Fellowship opportunity will be enabled by the Scottish Graduate School of Arts and Humanities to expose researchers to current challenges in a specific field and to provide ways to develop appropriate solutions to these problems. This funded scholarship program ensures international research collaboration between early career researchers, Scottish higher education institutions, Scottish academic sponsors and external organisations. The program aims to promote the role of environmental arts, humanities and related disciplines in addressing climate emergencies. In addition, it aims to explore the possibilities of interdisciplinary research in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and the arts.
Scholarships to conduct research in Scotland through the British Council are based on the pillars of diversity and inclusion as the opportunity is open to all. The program creates research opportunities and global dynamism to identify new ways to address the looming challenge of the climate crisis. Eligibility Criteria:
- PHD. Must be an early career researcher.
- Must be a graduate of a non-English university in Environmental Arts and Humanities.
- Must be able to work with teachers of higher education institutions and information networks.
- Research proposals should be in the fields of arts, humanities and environment.
