GIST International Scholarships 2023:
Applications are invited for the 2023 GIST International Scholarship in South Korea. One of the leading universities. All international students of any nationality are eligible to apply for the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology Scholarship 2022/23. GIST offers Masters Scholarships, PhD Scholarships and Post-Masters PhD Scholarships for all students. Applicants who wish to study in Korea for a full scholarship are encouraged to apply. The award is available for the 2022-23 academic year.
GIST offers all courses and fields of study under this scholarship to pursue a master’s, doctoral or master’s degree to pursue a PhD. This scholarship covers all costs of studying abroad. The duration of awarding a master’s degree is 2 years and 4 years for the doctoral degree.
Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) was established in 1993 in South Korea. GIST is a Korean government research university. According to the QS World University Rankings, it is ranked third worldwide and fourth in South Korea. Students can learn leadership skills at this university.

Financial Benefits:
The GIST International Scholarship in South Korea 2022 is a completely free scholarship for international students to pursue a master’s or PhD degree from the #1 university in Korea. This award covers all costs of completing your degree. The details are as follows:
- Complete Tuition Fee: 3,415,000 won per semester
- Monthly Stipends:
- Masters Degree: 140,000 won per month
- PhD Degree: 295,000 won per month
- Research Assistantship (All students participating):
- 4,820,000 won per year of MS
- 11,480,000 won per year of PhD
- Health Insurance (All International Students)
- 60% of the Korean National Health Insurance fee is supported.
- Annual Medical checkup
- Flight Reimbursement (All Incoming International Students)
- Reimbursement for a one-way flight to Korea
