Eligibility Criteria For Shandong University CSC Scholarship:
Applicants for this international student scholarship must meet the following criteria to study at Shandong University under a Chinese government scholarship.
- Applicants Must be Non-Chinese Citizens.
- Applicants should be physically healthy.
- Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and under 25 years for undergraduate/graduate studies.
Applicants for the master’s degree must have a bachelor’s degree and under 35 years of age.
For PhD, must have a MS degree and below 40 years. - Excellent achievement in your study.
- Chinese / English Language Proficiency Certificate
- Comparative good ability in research.
- Applicants do not gain any other scholarships.

- The highest degree Transcript required by official stamps must be uploaded to the SDU-CSC program portal. (Notarized photocopying required)
- Note: If you are an SDU-CSC applicant and your qualification/Transcript is not in English, then SDU requires a notarized copy of the English translation.
- Two recommendation letter
- The Shandong University of China recommends that you write in English for applicants’ teachers/mentors/employers (who are qualified to assess your academic performance and research abilities).
- A research plan / Study plan (Chinese/English language)
- Published academic papers and academic achievements (not required).
- HSK 5 (Chinese Proficiency Test)
- HSK 4 for BS, HSK 5 for MS & HSK 6 is for Ph.D.
- Passport scan (if available on request)
