Important information for potential applicants:

The application is free – there is no charge to participate in the DV program.
No consultant required: The US Embassy does not recommend you use a consultant to assist you with your application. Consider reaching out to a family member, friend, or another person for help. No matter who provides help, you are responsible for your own request.
Apply online: For enrollment in the Diversity Visa Program 2022, be sure to use the Electronic Diversity Visa (E-DV) form at www.dvlottery.state.gov during the registration period.
The whole family at the time of application: At the time of enrollment, describe your spouse and unmarried children below 21 years of age at the time of application. Submissions without the inclusion of family would invalidate the registration.
One request per person
Upload a new image: Entries submitted with the same image from DV of previous years will be rejected. Strictly follow the rules of photography and connect everyone with the right person in your application. Please note that applicants may not put glasses in their photographs.
Accurate and unexpected passport information required: This year’s entries must include the applicant’s original passport number, country of issuance, and the expiration date of the passport.
Print and save your verification number – This number is the only way to verify your status.
Never give the verification number to anyone.
If you will be selected for DV, the only way to enter your verification number is by 8 May 2021 at www.dvlottery.state.gov.
