Trainee Programme for Young Film Critics in the Netherlands-Fully Funded

Description:

The Rotterdam International IFFR recognizes the importance of film analysis and critique. The program recognizes the Young Film Critics Training Program to help a new generation of young and future film critics.

The event provides a unique insight into the various events presented at our festival, from films by famous writers to experimental and obscure gems, and art installations and film industry talks and conferences.

Training Program:

The program selects 5 to 8 volunteers for training each year. As an apprentice, you are part of the editorial team of the exhibition. Due to the changing media landscape, this year’s program will focus on candidates with different skills. In addition to excellent writing skills, the student will gain experience in the field of audio, audio, or other new methods of journalism.

Fully Funded IFFR Internship:

  • IFFR 2021 Free Press Confirmation.
  • Minor withdrawal of travel expenses when traveling from outside Europe.
  • The aim of a full IFFR program is to make trainees an integral part of the exhibition and to enable them to participate in the daily media distribution of the festival.
  • The students form a team organized by the IFFR Press Office and the Exhibition Editor. Trainees can explore all aspects of the IFFR as part of the program, as well as their media coverage.
  • If your participation is successful and you have published a report meeting IFRR standards (both quantitative and qualitative), then you have the opportunity to move on to the next edition of the festival as an authorized journalist.

Eligibility for IFFR Internship:

If candidates meet the IFFR requirements, they are eligible to participate in a Young Film Critics Internship, which includes:
